OUR STORY

Rus Pty Ltd was established on the 3rd Dec 1999 as a family owned export trading company.

 

Mr. Steven Rastocic, now the managing director, resigned from his previous position with another export trading company to enable him to focus solely on establishing Rus Pty Ltd as a leading trading house throughout the North Pacific Islands and South East Asia.

 

Steven commenced working in the export trading business in March 1988 having held various positions throughout his career such as Shipping Clerk, Shipping Manager, Marketing Manager and finally as Sales Director with his previous employers.

 

Since the commencement of trading, Rus Pty Ltd has focused on providing an efficient and cost-effective consolidation service for our various clients in many countries. We consolidate cargo from various suppliers into 20’ or 40’ general or frozen containers for shipment directly to our buyers. We can consolidate containers with goods ranging from a few different suppliers up to 20+ suppliers. We work extensively with our customers in order to try and satisfy their requests wherever possible.

We are able to consolidate containers out of all the Australian major ports.

 

At the moment we work closely with a number of Australian companies and represent them in various South East Asian countries namely: -

Arnotts Biscuits

 

We represent these companies in Brunei & Malaysia and at the moment we are also selling products into Indonesia, Singapore, Philippines, Nauru, Guam, Mariana Islands, Micronesia, Marshall Islands and Republic of Palau.

 

Rus Pty Ltd not only sells Australian products to the above countries but a large part of our business is also buying goods throughout Asia and shipping directly to the Pacific Island countries.

 

We purchase goods such as: - Cement, Rebar, Roofing, Ceramic Tiles, Plywood Sugar and various other food items. We purchase from countries such as Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, China & Taiwan.

 

We have our own brand of Canned Tuna, Sardines & Mackerel canned in Thailand and Bakers Flour which is bagged in Australia.

 

Mr. Damian Rastocic our Sales and Marketing assistant has been with Rus Pty Ltd since June 2016. Damian will be looking at expanding the business and growing our client base to include new markets and increase the range of goods we have on offer.

 

Our main areas of expansion that we are looking at growing are Cambodia, Burma and the Sub continent regions.
